Bike Week Bandshell Concert – For over a decade, Daytona’s classic rock station, the WHOG, has hosted a significant concert at the historic, oceanfront Bandshell in Daytona Beach during Bike Week. The concert takes place on the second Saturday on Bike Week in the afternoon. The free concert includes station talent, vehicles, sponsor village, stage signage and food/beverage sales. Port Orange KIDZ DAYZ - MARCH (Dates Pending) at the Port Orange City Center – This spring version of the popular Fall Family Days takes place during K-12 spring break and runs Thursday through Sunday with weekend-long carnivals, food courts, venders, sponsor displays as well as a Friday night outdoor movie, Saturday community yard sale and charity silent auction and Sunday dog parade. Festival proceeds benefit the Port Orange Performing Arts Pavilion. 15-20,000 expected.
Spring Break - MARCH 9-20 at Various Locations - Black Crow Media, owners of four local radio stations have organized and hosted the largest Spring Break activities since the mid-1990s. These activities are structured to follow the typical day of a Spring Break visitor starting with daytime activities on the beach and pool decks ending with nighttime activities in the leading nightclubs and bars. The 4th Annual Black Crow Cruise - JULY 9-13 The Black Crow Media Cruise sets sail July 9, 2008 on Carnival’s Sensation. The five-day, four-night cruise from Port of Tampa includes an extended stay at Cozumel, Mexico. The Cruise covers all four Black Crow radio stations: WHOG classic rock, KRO country, WVYB adult contemporary/top 40 and WNDB AM Talk. Cruisers are responsible for their own bar tab and any additional side-activities other than those included in the special radio station cruise package. The package includes special receptions, poolside games and contests, poker tournament, club nights, group photo, cabin gifts and on-board credit. DJs from all Black Crow stations attend the cruise and host on-board activities. Over 300 cabins are reserved.

2nd Annual Redneck Games – SEPTEMBER 19 at the Pub 44 – Harley-Davidson Festival Grounds - Redneck Games are a day-long series of competitions including toilet seat horseshoes, frozen pig feet bobbing and belly flopping to name just a few. The games will be made up of pre-registered teams of listeners from both the HOG and KRO Country stations. Winning teams in each game receive medals and their weight in beer. Also, don’t miss the Game’s opening and closing ceremonies complete with a beer can torch and tractor rim cauldron.

This multiple block street festival launches the Florida International Season and their involvement with the London Symphony. 4th Annual Hot Rods on Main Street Muscle Beach - NOVEMBER 28 on Main Street – Largest night time Hot Rod Show and Shine of Turkey Rod Run Weekend with over $5,000 in cash and prizes in multiple categories. Main Street closed to traffic to accommodate the show. Participants park on angle on Main Street stretching from ocean to river and on pocket parking lots along Main Street. Participants vote on winning vehicles. Other festival activities include up to five live bands, displays, food vendors and live remotes. 9,000 expected.
3rd Annual Port Orange Outdoor Christmas Movies – DECEMBER 4 and 11at the Port Orange City Center - The outdoor holiday movie series at City Center in Port Orange runs on two consecutive Friday nights and are free to the public. They begin at 6:30pm each night. Past movies include Elf, It’s a Wonderful Life and The Santa Clause. 300 expected
